Female Facelift 2: Facelift

Facelift and lower eyelid blepharoplasty in woman of color Women of color present unique challenges to face lift surgeons. Not only does their skin tend to be heavier, but scars can darken and be more visible. This woman was particularly concerned about her heavy neck, jowls, deep nasolabial folds and appearance of her lower eyelids. After Dr. Constantinides face lift, she looks fresher and more natural without being pulled. The deep plane face lift is the only lift that has any chance of creating lasting improvement in the nasolabial folds. Although she would have been even better with fillers in the nasolabial folds, she was satisfied with the natural improvement without looking overdone. The scars are invisible in front of the ears and below the chin. The jowls, neck and lower eyelids are likewise improved and natural. Most importantly, she looks like a better version of herself and not like a different person.
