Neck Lift Platysmaplasty: Neck Lift

This woman started to see laxity and bands developing in her neck. She wanted her neck to look better, but did not want major surgery. There was no excess fat in her neck at all. Dr. Constantinides performed a platysmaplasty, which is a neck lift through only an incision beneath the chin. NO OTHER INCISIONS WERE NEEDED! This is even less than a "mini-lift" that requires incisions in front of the ears. In this surgery, the neck muscle is tightened and the excess skin is removed through the incision beneath the chin. She was thrilled with her results.
